Look, we don’t love public dragging, but when Chicharito opened his mouth and disrespected women, he basically handed us the mic…Three goals in over two years and you’re out here saying “let men lead”? Lead where, exactly? The bench?
The only thing receding faster than your stats is your hairline.
Hair: 0. Respect for women: also 0. Sit this one out, sir.

Salvadoran Heritage Night comes to
Los Angeles
Salvies Who Lunch has once again partnered with Angel City Football Club for the 2nd Annual Salvadoran Heritage Celebration at BMO Stadium. This collaboration comes at a time when uncertainty and fear continue to impact Los Angeles, particularly within immigrant communities.
The celebration will take place on August 21st, inviting Angelenos to come together in support of women’s sports, local pride, and Salvadoran heritage.
A portion of ticket sales will support Salvies Who Lunch and the LA Street Vendor Solidarity Fund, aiding vendors impacted by ICE raids and advancing immigrant justice.

La Payton Lives.
They call her "La Payton" for a reason. Sandra Romero’s journey to greatness began with a twist: inspired by Chicago Bears legend Walter Payton, her legacy wasn’t built on running, it was an accidental throw that revealed her true gift. From chasing dreams as a running back to revolutionizing flag football with a laser arm, Sandra transformed the game.
Three world championships, multiple MVPs, and 36 years representing México later, she’s the undisputed face of Mexican flag football. Eleven World Cups in, her precision and vision have turned the sport into an art, inspiring a new generation across Latin America.
At 56, while most legends rest, Sandra’s still breaking ankles, launching perfect spirals, and proving that true excellence never fades. When her highlights go viral, it’s not nostalgia, it’s a masterclass in transcending the game.
