The people’s (Dominican) princess, Amaya Espinal, is running the internet with one perfectly timed one-liner at a time. Unfiltered, unbothered, and exactly the kind of representation we’ve been waiting for, loud, layered, and not asking for permission.

Meanwhile, Amanda Serrano is out here making history in custom Jordan 1s (because of course she did), and Young Miko pulled up to the Celebrity Softball Game like a secret weapon, literally out of left field.

SPORT-ISH CHISME

🧑🏻 I’m a mommy… mamacita? With dreams of motherhood, the question is still out if Marta will pursue her international career through the 2027 Women’s World Cup.

🛹 By bringing new energy to Vans’ timeless Old Skool, Tania Cruz shows how a classic can grow without losing its heart.

💅 If your nails aren’t repping your team, wyd?

🥊 The girls made history again, Taylor vs. Serrano III brought in 6M viewers and proved who really runs the ring.

Welcome (back?) to the WNBA

Portland’s WNBA team finally has a name, and it’s a familiar one. The league’s 15th franchise will be called the Portland Fire, bringing back the name from the city’s original WNBA team that played from 2000 to 2002. The fire’s officially reignited in the Rose City, and women’s hoops is blooming once again in Portland (too much?)

Enciso Era.

Sabrina Enciso is rewriting what's possible for a kid from Moreno Valley. Her journey from Southern California to Mexico's most prestigious soccer stages reads like a masterclass in chasing dreams across borders.

The numbers tell part of her story: 84 appearances at the University of Arizona (second-most in program history), a WPSL Desert Conference title, and Pac-12 All-Academic honors. But it's what happened next that truly captures attention, a leap to Club América Femenil, one of Liga MX's most legendary clubs.

Now, Enciso is making another power move. For the 2025 Apertura season, she's joining Tigres Femenil, a powerhouse known for collecting titles and transforming pressure into performance.

She'll be wearing the same colors as fellow Mexican-American stars Maria Sanchez, who recently transferred from San Diego Wave, and Diana Ordoñez, who made the jump from Houston Dash.
